Used to protect canvas prints, photo paper, sticker paper and other films by coating the media in a fast drying protective coat. Once applied it makes inks resistant to water and smudging as well as improving light fastness and scratch resistance. One light even coat will give a firm glossy finish which will be touch dry in 10 minutes. Extra coats may be applied after initial drying to improve performance.
The fixative spray can be used with the following products:
Its main features are:
This is a quick and versatile solution to improve the robustness of inkjet printed media. Inkjet being essentially a water based technology has some limitation as to its ability to withstand directly applied moisture and mechanical movement. Domestic printers often use inks which are not UV stable and this spray also is very good in prolonging the life of an image printed using non UV inks.
Overseas Orders Important Note - Due to Airline regulations, we are unable to ship spray products to destinations outside of the UK. Spray included in orders for overseas destinations will be removed from the order and the cost refunded in full.

I have used this product, for a few years now, and have found it invaluable for using on printable CDs and DVDs. If you have a printer that can print on printable discs then this spray is great for sealing them and giving them a more professional finish. Ensure that the environment you're using it in is clean, has minimal dust and follow the instructions and you'll be fine. I've used both the glossy version and the satin version and both are great, however, I find that many different finishes can be achieved with just the glossy version. It all depends on how close you hold the can to the subject being coated (further away = more satin/matt, closer = more glossy), just be careful not to get too close or the coating will be too thick and/or run! Be careful of under spray too, ensure discs are flat to the surface they are on. Give it about 10 - 20 minutes to be touch dry, but it's better to give it a few hours before putting them into any CD/DVD players. I have used the finished discs in both tray and slot loading systems and they have been fine! When it comes to paper/card I have found the finish to vary between materials and, most of the time, it just gives a protective coating with neither a matt, satin or glossy finish.
