This high quality transfer paper (also known as Iron On / Fabric Paper) will enable you to print a block of text or an image directly on the paper using your own domestic iron or heat press machine to be transferred onto any light fabric such as T-Shirts, Cotton Bags and Even Baby Aprons. The A4 transfer paper is suitable for any type of transfer heat press machine. The heat transfer paper comes with easily understood instructions.
Please note that this transfer doesn’t have the special heat sensor feature which is on our regular product but it is of the same high quality
What is the difference between Inkjet Transfer Paper and Budget Transfer Paper?
Our regular light Inkjet t shirt transfer paper has a special patent indicator. The back of the transfer paper has an icon of a domestic iron printed in green and brown. The green colour is a thermal sensitive colour that when it has enough heat by having a hot enough iron and ironed for long enough (heat and time) changes to brown so you know the transfer is ready. On the other hand, this heat press transfer paper does not have this patent indication, though the paper is of the same quality!

The clue is in the name "budget" You get what you pay for. Paper is OK and results were acceptable. Instructions included with paper are NOT for the budget paper, it was a case of trial and error so wasted a couple of sheets experimenting.
*** Photo Paper Direct reply *** We are sorry if the wrong instructions were added. We will double check that this does not happen again. It is extremely unusual.

The budget paper is on the thin side and has a slightly curved profile when removed from the pack which initially resulted in the edges of the paper collecting surplus ink during printing. However, if you carefully roll the paper from side to side to negate the curvature prior to printing this cures the problem. Also, experiment with printer settings. I found that the best settings for an Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer were:-
Print Quality - Best Photo
Paper Type - Photo Quality Inkjet
Tone - Hard
Sharpness - High
Using these settings I printed 11 Tee shirts (back & front) for an Under 10 League Champion football team without any problems.
Highly recommended.

I bought the budget paper to practice on as I haven't done any printing before. I was impressed with the result. I found it easy to use. I have washed the tshirt in with clothes and even with towels 6 times since and it still looks good. It even got a bit softer after the first wash. I also bought the standard light transfer paper but I haven't used that yet so sorry I can't compare them. I only gave it 4 stars as I haven't anything to compare it with yet. It may well be worth 5 stars.
